Kevin offers full-service communication skills. His writing, story, and marketing projects help Oscar, Emmy, and other industry leaders tell their stories. Kevin's credits include: 1) PR campaigns for National Geographic; 2) developing scripts for Oliver Stone; 3) Troika ad agency projects for ESPN and Apple; 4) documentary-shorts for USAID and UCLAx; and 5) writing/producing MTV's Emmy-winning interactive films, Take A Stand Against Violence -- which earned White House praise. Kevin also lectures at Stanford, Fordham, UCLAx Film, and USC's #1-ranked PR program.
Kevin is a writer-producer-marketer. He is also an adjunct professor of the same, teaching future Oscar-nominated producer, Jean de Meuron (statue). As a professional, Kevin heralded unknown visionary writer, Geoff Fletcher (speech), who later won the Oscar for writing Precious.
Kevin's reel shows his sample stories across platforms. Credits include: documentary shorts; a creative brief for Captain America and The MTV Movie Awards; press releases for studios, ad agencies, and ESPN; and other projects.
Kevin (in blue) developed scripts for Producer Janet Yang who today serves as president of the Academy (the Oscars) as well as three-time Oscar winner, Oliver Stone. Kevin's notes developed the Oscar-nominated script, Nixon; HBO's Emmy-winning Best Film, Indictment: The McMartin Trial; and the Golden Globe-winning script The People vs. Larry Flynt, directed by Milos Forman. Kevin also wrote and produced MTV's Emmy-winning interactive films and campaign, Take A Stand Against Violence.
Kevin trains marketing-storytellers, too, e.g., copywriters Jeremy Graham and Mike Alfaro (above). They went viral with their Super Bowl ad (Vimeo link). Mike also created the viral game, Millennial Loteria (hipster card). Kevin currently teaches part-time at Stanford and other programs. He began this teaching-half of his career at The University of Texas' top-ranked Advertising Program and was then recruited by Chapman Film School and UCLAx. Kevin has also coached MTV, Univision, IceHotel, etc.
