KEVIN MARDESICH
COMMUNICATIONS
WRITING, STORIES
& MARKETING
Kevin offers full-service communication skills. His writing, story, and marketing projects help Oscar, Emmy, and other industry leaders tell their stories. Kevin's credits include: 1) PR campaigns for National Geographic; 2) developing scripts for Oliver Stone; 3) Troika ad agency projects for ESPN and Apple; 4) documentary-shorts for USAID and UCLAx; and 5) writing/producing MTV's Emmy-winning interactive films, Take A Stand Against Violence -- which earned White House praise. Kevin also lectures at Stanford, Fordham, UCLAx Film, and USC's #1-ranked PR program.
Kevin led PR/communications for his client, the ad agency, Troika, who specialized in branding packages. Kevin worked on 14 global campaigns with Troika, including: ESPN, FOX, HGTV, and Apple.com (see "News Stories" for more info). Kevin's copy, articles, and press releases were featured on Apple's website, in Hollywood news stories, and in prestigious Communication Arts magazine.
Kevin also conducted Troika ad agency's communication audits and plans. He presented them to management to be used for client brand-identities and to burnish Troika's own Emmy-winning brand. Kevin is also recognized for his strategy, securing Troika's first-ever meetings with VIPs like Apple's marketing leaders and the mayor of Los Angeles, Eric Garcetti. The latter was with Troika co-founder Chuck Carey re: "rebranding L.A." via a major sports event -- one of Troika's skills as seen in these ESPN and Superbowl campaigns.
Troika had a 22-year run and it remains one of Kevin's all-time favorite clients. He continues publicizing Chuck Carey at his new ad agency, Compadre -- also featured on here via Chuck's below Netflix outdoor campaign.
