& MARKETING
Kevin offers full-service communication skills. His writing, story, and marketing projects help Oscar, Emmy, and other industry leaders tell their stories. Kevin's credits include: 1) PR campaigns for National Geographic; 2) developing scripts for Oliver Stone; 3) Troika ad agency projects for ESPN and Apple; 4) documentary-shorts for USAID and UCLAx; and 5) writing/producing MTV's Emmy-winning interactive films, Take A Stand Against Violence -- which earned White House praise. Kevin's documentary co-won NYU's top award while he was working for the Emmy-winning documentarian and branded content pioneer, Maysles Films. Founder Al Maysles and Kevin worked on Coors, Wal-Mart, and other ads -- interviewing real people using these products and services. Since Maysles Films, Kevin has directly supported 20 other branded-content films.
Sample work featured in Kevin's reel here includes: 1) his NYU documentary that started this interest in stories featuring real people; 2) Kevin's documentary-short that branded a Colombian medical nonprofit (wrote, produced, and directed); 3) China's Lizora skincare launch (copywriting, producing); 4) IceHotel's rebrand in Sweden via a documentary-ad that "went viral" (Kevin coached the marketer's creative brief, copy, and social tactics); and 5) 14 branding campaigns for Troika ad agency, including an Emmy-winning ESPN campaign (Kevin handled all communications). Kevin's reel here traces his evolution with branded content.
