Kevin offers full-service communications. He specializes in writing, content, and marketing. He helps Oscar, Emmy, and other industry leaders tell their stories. His credits include: 1) executing PR for National Geographic, 2) developing scripts for Oliver Stone, 3) Troika ad campaigns for ESPN and Apple.com, 4) producing 40+ documentary-shorts for nonprofits, and 5) writing/producing MTV's Emmy-winning interactive films Take A Stand Against Violence. The latter earned White House praise. Kevin also teaches these writing, story, and marketing skills at Stanford, USC, UCLAx, etc.
Kevin's documentary co-won NYU Film's top award while he was working for the Emmy-winning documentarian and branded content pioneer, Maysles Films. Coordinating for Al Maysles, Kevin worked on Coors, Wal-Mart, and other ads -- interviewing real people using real products and services. Since Maysles Films, Kevin has directly supported 20 other branded-content short films.
Kevin's reel here includes the following: 1) his NYU documentary that started his passion for true stories; 2) his documentary-short portraying a Cali, Colombian medical nonprofit (wrote, produced, and directed); 3) Lizora skincare launch in China (copywriting, producing); 4) IceHotel's rebrand in Sweden via a Facebook documentary ad that "went viral" (Kevin coached Tessa's creative brief, copy, and social media); and 5) branding campaigns for Troika ad agency's ESPN (Kevin handled communications).
